Convert Hardwired Security into Wireless

The 2GIG Hardwire Conversion Kit includes all of the essential components you need to upgrade an existing hardwired security system into a 2GIG wireless system. As the main kit component, the 2GIG Super Switch Takeover Module converts up to eight (8) hardwired zones into eight (8) wireless zones that are compatible with the wireless 2GIG GoControl panel (sold separately).

About the Super Switch Takeover Module

The module connects to a third-party 12-volt control panel and converts signals from your hardwired zones/devices into wireless signals, which are then transmitted to the GoControl panel. The converted zones can then be managed and monitored through your GoControl system.

Additional Kit Components

The kit also includes a Power Supply Board (12/24 VDC) with a backup battery charging circuit, a Grounded Plug-in Transformer, and an ABS plastic enclosure. The enclosure includes a dedicated slot for a backup battery (not included), and also houses up to two (2) additional Super Switch Takeover Modules (three total), allowing you to convert up to 24 hardwired zones into wireless zones.
